Lots going on right now and I find myself up at odd hours of the day… I stumbled across this presentation called The Little Book of Leadership and thought it worth sharing.
In it it says something interesting…
Why do leaders instruct rather than ask questions?
The problem leaders have with questions derives from two related leadership misconceptions:
1. The need to appear infallible; and,
2. The concept of the leader as a trouble-shooter and solution-finder.
UPDATE: Well, I guess people liked the preso so much that they turned it into a book, Jeffrey Gitomer’s Little Book of Leadership. #thankthepasser
